New Delhi, May 18: A golden opportunity has emerged for youth aspiring to work in Indian Railways. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued a short notification on its official website, inviting applications for various technician positions totaling 6,565 vacancies.
Among these, there are 323 posts for Technician Grade-I Signal and 6,242 posts for Technician Grade-III.
The online application process will commence on June 30 and the last date to apply is set for July 29. Eligible candidates wishing to secure these positions can submit their registration forms on the RRB’s official portal once the application link is activated, up until the deadline.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, with a maximum age limit of 33 years for Technician Grade-I Signal and 30 years for Technician Grade-III, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
The medical standards for the Technician Grade-I Signal position will be B-I, while the standards for Technician Grade-III will be detailed in the CEN.
Selected candidates for the Technician Grade-I Signal position will receive a salary of ₹29,200 per month under Pay Matrix Level 5, as per the 7th CPC. Those chosen for Technician Grade-III will earn ₹19,900 per month under Pay Matrix Level 2.
