Mumbai, March 8: The spokesperson for the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Mritunjay Tiwari, has shared his views on several contemporary issues. These include the recent power shift in Nepal, the political entry of Nishant Kumar, controversies surrounding President Droupadi Murmu, and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final.
Responding to Nishant Kumar’s foray into politics, Tiwari stated that every individual has the right to participate in politics. It is ultimately up to the public to decide whom they accept or reject.
Tiwari also questioned the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, pointing out the inconsistency in his governance. He noted that during election time, voters were asked to support “Nitish again,” and leadership was discussed for 2025 to 2030. He raised concerns about what led to Kumar’s removal from the chief minister position just months later.
He accused the political scenario of being a game of power. Fulfilling promises made to the public should be the top priority. Tiwari mentioned that Tejashwi Yadav had previously predicted that the politics of the BJP and JD(U) would ultimately lead to Nitish Kumar’s ousting from the chief minister role.
On the topic of Nepal’s election results and the subsequent power change, Tiwari remarked that wins and losses are part of democracy, and power shifts are a natural aspect of politics. He emphasized the need to respect the choice made by the people of Nepal and expressed hope for maintaining strong relations between India and Nepal.
Regarding the controversy surrounding President Droupadi Murmu, Tiwari stated that the president is the first citizen of the country and deserves respect from everyone. However, he accused the BJP of attempting to gain political advantage from this issue.
As for the T20 World Cup final, Tiwari highlighted its significance for the nation, noting that the entire country is focused on this match. He expressed optimism that the Indian team would perform exceptionally and bring pride to the nation.
