Raghav Chadha Faces Consequences for Speaking Out, Says Ajay Rai

Lucknow, April 4: Ajay Rai, the Uttar Pradesh Congress Chief, has reacted strongly to the removal of Raghav Chadha from the Deputy Leader position in the Rajya Sabha. He stated that Chadha is facing the repercussions of speaking too much.

In an interview with a news agency in Lucknow, Rai accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of being the B team of the BJP. He recalled knowing Arvind Kejriwal since 2014 when he contested the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi, asserting that Kejriwal is completely aligned with the BJP. Rai suggested that Chadha was removed for being too vocal against the BJP.

Regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill, Rai commented that the government is introducing it at a time when several states are facing assembly elections. He believes that decisions should follow an all-party meeting, but the BJP tends to view everything through an electoral lens. He emphasized that the public has understood the government’s tactics.

On the Malda incident, Rai mentioned that while the state government is doing its job, the BJP is engaged in divisive politics. He pointed out that the BJP’s longstanding strategy has been to create rifts among people to maintain power.

Rai also addressed AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi’s comments, stating that Muslims across the country stand firmly with the Congress. He asserted that Rahul Gandhi is the only leader fighting for the nation and raising voices on behalf of the people.

Notably, political tensions have escalated surrounding Raghav Chadha’s situation. Chadha released a video claiming he has been silenced but has not been defeated. He expressed that attempts are being made to suppress his voice, but he will continue to fight for the issues affecting the common man.

In the video shared on social media, Chadha highlighted that he has consistently raised public issues in Parliament. He cited examples such as the high prices of food at airports and the challenges faced by delivery workers from online food platforms like Swiggy and Zomato. Additionally, he has repeatedly addressed concerns regarding difficulties in the banking sector and the troubles faced by the public at toll plazas.
