New Delhi, July 31: BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consistently shown concern for the youth and students of the nation. His remarks came in response to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s accusations regarding Modi suppressing the voices of Generation Z.
In an interview, Khatana stated that since taking office, PM Modi has been deeply invested in the future of young people and students. Through initiatives like ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ and ‘Startup Standup,’ he maintains direct communication with children. There is no segment of society for which he has not launched a scheme.
Khatana asserted that PM Modi has entrusted the nation to its youth, positioning India to become the world’s third-largest power. He criticized the Congress and the INDIA alliance for their tendency to obstruct and mislead.
During a press conference addressing the injuries sustained by Delhi police families during protests at Jantar Mantar, Khatana accused the Congress and the INDIA alliance of hijacking peaceful student demonstrations and involving criminals in the sit-ins. He claimed that opposition parties have exploited protesting students for political gain, leading to violence against police officers.
Khatana also reacted sharply to the opposition’s theatrics regarding the alleged theft of donations for the Ram Temple in Parliament. He remarked that members of the INDIA alliance have succumbed to despair, being involved in paper leaks, corruption, and crime. The public has pushed these opposition parties out of power, abandoning the true meaning of democracy. He lamented the contradiction of carrying the Constitution while simultaneously undermining parliamentary decorum.
