New Delhi, August 1 (HS): Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have announced a reduction in the price of LPG gas cylinders, cutting the cost of the 19-kg commercial gas cylinder by ₹33.50. The new prices have come into effect from midnight.
As per the revised rates, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has now been fixed at ₹1,631.50, down from the earlier price of ₹1,665.00. This latest cut has brought some relief to a large number of hotels, restaurants, and small business operators who rely on commercial LPG cylinders for their daily operations.
However, there is no change in the prices of domestic LPG cylinders. The OMCs have not provided any relief to general consumers, as the cost of the 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged.
