President Murmu and VP Radhakrishnan Extend New Year 2026 Wishes to Nation

New Delhi, 1 January: On the auspicious occasion of New Year 2026, President of India Draupadi Murmu and Vice President CP Radhakrishnan have extended their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all Indians living in the country and abroad.

Both top constitutional dignitaries described the new year as an opportunity for renewed energy, positive change, and the building of a strong India.

In her message, President Draupadi Murmu said that the new year is a time of joy and enthusiasm. It is not only a moment for celebration but also for self-reflection and making new resolutions.

She added that the new year inspires us to reconsider our personal and collective goals and to advance them with determination.

The President appealed to the citizens to strengthen their commitment towards the country’s development, social harmony, and environmental protection in 2026.

She emphasized that these values lay the foundation for a strong and inclusive India. In her message, the President wished that the year 2026 bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to everyone’s life and energize our resolve to build a powerful and bright India.

Similarly, Vice President CP Radhakrishnan also extended his wishes to all citizens on New Year 2026. He expressed hope that the coming year brings peace, good health, happiness, and prosperity to all.

The Vice President further said that the new year should strengthen our collective resolve so that together we can build a developed and strong India.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his New Year greetings on the social media platform ‘X’, writing, “Wishing everyone a very happy 2026. May the coming year bring you good health and prosperity, success in your efforts, and satisfaction in all you do. I pray for peace and happiness in our society.”
