PM Modi Shares Inspirational Quotes on Social Media

New Delhi, August 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an inspiring quote on the social media platform ‘X’ on Monday.

In his post, he emphasized the importance of listening to “truthful, auspicious, and enlightening words” and adopting beneficial thoughts. He urged citizens to dedicate their lives to the public good with a healthy body, good conduct, and noble qualities. He also encouraged the dissemination of truthful and authentic information to make the nation and society aware, empowered, and harmonious.

Additionally, PM Modi shared a Sanskrit verse: “भद्रं कर्णेभिः शृणुयाम देवा भद्रं पश्येमाक्षभिर्यजत्राः॥ स्थिरैरङ्गैस्तुष्टुवांसस्तनूभिर्व्यशेम देवहितं यदायुः॥”

Earlier, on August 7, he posted another quote, stating, “किं चन्द्रमाः प्रत्युपकारलिप्सया करोति गोभिः कुमुदावबोधनम्. स्वभाव एवोन्नतचेतसां सतां परोपकारव्यसनं हि जीवितम्॥” This verse translates to: “The moon does not illuminate the lotus with the desire for reciprocation; it is its natural quality. Similarly, noble-hearted individuals help others selflessly, as altruism is inherent to their nature.”

On August 6, PM Modi had also shared a quote: “विश्वस्वं मातरमोषधीनां ध्रुवां भूमिं पृथिवीं धर्मणा धृताम्. शिवां स्योनामनु चरेम विश्वहा॥” The meaning of this verse is: “May the Earth, our mother, which produces all kinds of superior plants and medicines, remain vast and stable. We should always serve our motherland, nurtured by virtues like knowledge, valor, truth, and love, which provide welfare and happiness.”
