New Delhi, August 3: Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an inspirational quote on the social media platform ‘X’ on Monday.
In his post, PM Modi included a Sanskrit verse stating, “त्याज्यं न धैर्यं विधुरेऽपि दैवे धैर्यात्कदाचित्स्थितिमाप्नुयात्सः. याते समुद्रेऽपि च पोतभङ्गे सांयात्रिको वाञ्छति कर्म एव ..”
The essence of this quote is that even in adverse circumstances, one should not lose patience. With patience, a person can regain their lost favorable situation. Just as a skilled sailor continues to strive for survival and does not lose hope, even when a ship is wrecked in the middle of the sea.
Earlier, on July 29, PM Modi had shared another quote on social media, wishing citizens a happy Guru Purnima. He wrote, “Guru imparts knowledge and instills positive energy in their disciples, educating them with good thoughts and values. Let us make their ideals a support in our lives.”
Additionally, he shared another verse: “प्रेरकः सूचकश्चैव वाचको दर्शकस्तथा. शिक्षकः बोधकश्चैव षडेते गुरवः स्मृताः॥” which translates to recognizing the six forms of a guru who inspires, guides, teaches, and facilitates self-development through knowledge and truth.
On July 28, PM Modi highlighted the importance of nature conservation, stating, “The welfare of humanity lies in the respect and preservation of nature. Our traditions inspire us to adhere to this righteous conduct.” He also shared a Sanskrit verse emphasizing that a harmonious life with nature and righteousness is the foundation of happiness, security, and well-being.
