New Delhi, March 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tenure as the longest-serving head of government in India has sparked excitement within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal described this achievement as a matter of pride for every Indian.
In an interview with a news agency, he stated that this occasion is no less than a special celebration for BJP workers. According to him, Prime Minister Modi has set new benchmarks in leadership through his continuous and effective governance, which began during his time as Chief Minister of Gujarat and has now been expanded to a national level.
Khandelwal emphasized that under PM Modi’s leadership, both domestic and international confidence in India has strengthened. He noted that PM Modi is fully committed to fulfilling any pledge he makes, which is why his popularity is recognized globally. He also highlighted that the Prime Minister’s direct communication with the public is one of his greatest attributes, distinguishing him from other leaders.
Furthermore, Khandelwal mentioned that PM Modi’s political and administrative experience is deeply rooted in grassroots issues, allowing him to understand the problems and needs of every segment of society. Whether it’s a small vendor on the street or an employee in a showroom, the central government has made efforts to create schemes that benefit all. He claimed that over the past 12 years, the central government has implemented numerous programs for every class, with ongoing work to ensure their success.
He recalled PM Modi’s tenure as Chief Minister of Gujarat, where there was a significant focus on the development of administrative officials and skill development, which was unprecedented. He explained that PM Modi believes that just as the development of the public is essential, so too is the skill development of officials, ensuring that administration remains transparent, accountable, and fair.
Indeed, PM Modi has become the longest-serving head of an elected government in India, completing 8,931 days in office as both Chief Minister of Gujarat and Prime Minister of India.
