New Delhi, March 8: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth ₹33,500 crore in Burari, New Delhi, on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Following the event, attendees praised the central government’s initiatives.

One woman at the event remarked, “PM Modi has genuinely worked for women, but those who only criticize will continue to do so.”

Another attendee shared, “There is significant progress happening in Delhi. I have never seen such development work before. Overall, PM Modi’s program in Delhi was excellent.” A different woman added, “We are fortunate that PM Modi has gifted us this on Women’s Day. He has accomplished much for women. In a post on the social media platform X, he wrote, “On International Women’s Day, I extend my best wishes to the nation’s ‘Nari Shakti.’ Women in every sector are shaping India’s progress with their determination, creativity, and unique enthusiasm. Their achievements inspire our nation and strengthen our collective resolve to build a ‘developed India.’”

He further emphasized, “Women empowerment is at the core of our various schemes and initiatives. We are committed to creating opportunities that allow every woman to realize her full potential and contribute to India’s development journey.”
