During his conversation with Qatar’s Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the care and security provided to the Indian community residing in Qatar.
On the social media platform X, he wrote, “I spoke with my brother, the Amir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. We stand firmly with Qatar. We condemn the attacks on its sovereignty and territorial integrity. We emphasized the urgent need to restore peace and stability in the region through dialogue and diplomacy. I also appreciated their ongoing support and care for the Indian community during these challenging times.”
PM Modi also mentioned his discussion with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, sharing thoughts on recent developments in West Asia. He condemned violations of Oman’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, agreeing that continuous diplomatic engagement is essential to restore regional peace and stability. He thanked Oman for its ongoing support to the Indian community.
Referring to his conversation with King Abdullah II of Jordan, PM Modi expressed his deep concern about the changing situation in the region. He reiterated support for peace, security, and the welfare of the Jordanian people, thanking them for their attention to the Indian community in Jordan.
Additionally, he spoke with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, condemning the attacks on Bahrain and expressing solidarity with its people during these difficult times. He thanked Bahrain for its continued support to the Indian community.
