New Delhi, August 1: Sunil Baral, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), has strongly criticized Pappu Yadav, the MP from Purnia, for staging a protest dressed as a sadhu in the Parliament complex. Baral claims that Yadav and other opposition leaders have disrespected Indian culture and civilization.
In a conversation regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent video message addressed to Generation Z, Baral stated, “The Prime Minister has a big heart. He is currently acting as a guardian for 1.4 billion citizens. PM Modi understands the responsibilities of parents. The disrespectful language used by children towards the Prime Minister’s mother during the protests is condemnable. Despite hearing such insults from the youth, the Prime Minister has forgiven everyone and is encouraging progress.”
Referring to Yadav’s saffron attire during protests in Parliament related to the Ram Mandir donation issue, Baral remarked, “This is not just an insult to Hindus but also to Indian culture and civilization. Sanatan Dharma is the identity of this country. Pappu Yadav has mocked Sanatan Dharma and its saints. Legal action should be taken against him.”
Regarding the renaming of Bhadohi district in Uttar Pradesh, where Mayawati expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Baral commented, “The BJP believes in Indian culture and the Constitution, and is working to revive ancient traditions. In this context, CM Yogi Adityanath has named Bhadohi district after Sant Ravidas.”
Akhilesh Yadav stated that changing the district’s name will not bring any change and urged the BJP to adopt Sant Ravidas’s ideals. In response, Baral emphasized the significance of names, saying, “Names hold great importance; one must first understand their significance. Names bring fame and inspiration.”
Baral concluded by asserting, “The BJP government has eradicated corruption and lawlessness. In previous governments, jobs were obtained through bribery, but under the BJP, appointments are made transparently.”
