He stated that a thorough investigation should be conducted involving the doctors, hospital staff, and all potential individuals connected to the case. Yadav demanded that the complete CCTV footage from the ICU be preserved, DNA tests of the relevant individuals be carried out, and a transparent review of the post-mortem report be conducted.
He emphasized that if the student’s death occurred under suspicious circumstances, a scientific and impartial investigation is crucial. While he hopes for fair action from the CBI, he believes the court should also consider taking suo motu cognizance of the matter.
Additionally, Yadav raised alarms about data security and digital infrastructure in India. He asserted that there is a pressing need for a robust policy and controls regarding data management. He warned that information related to banking and digital transactions is at risk of being accessed abroad. Yadav noted that if the savings of the middle and lower-middle classes are being compromised through cyber means without redress, it poses a serious concern.
