Pankaj Chaudhary Critiques SP, Calls PDA Family Development Authority

Lucknow, March 25: In a sharp rebuttal to recent comments made by Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav, Pankaj Chaudhary, the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Minister of State for Finance, labeled the SP’s PDA initiative as the ‘Family Development Authority.’

Chaudhary accused the SP of promoting nepotism rather than social justice. He stated that the party should become accustomed to hearing the truth about its so-called PDA, which he claims serves only the political interests of one family.

Targeting the SP’s stance on bulldozer actions, Chaudhary remarked that only those with ties to criminals and mafias fear such measures. He asserted that these actions are not against the poor but are aimed at land mafias and criminals who have long exploited the rights of the underprivileged. He emphasized that law and order have been restored in Uttar Pradesh, with strict actions against offenders, which the SP finds unacceptable.

Chaudhary criticized the SP’s governance, describing it as a period of ‘jungle raj’ where the marginalized, Dalits, and minorities faced the most oppression. He pointed out that the SP’s political agenda prioritizes family interests over those of the public, stating that party workers, the poor, youth, and farmers are merely used for slogans while real benefits accrue to a select few.

He questioned the moral authority of the SP leadership, arguing that those associated with riots, corruption, and appeasement have no right to speak on ethics. Chaudhary expressed confidence that the people of Uttar Pradesh would continue to support development, good governance, and nationalism in the upcoming 2027 elections.
