Pakistan Announces 17-Member Squad for Tri-Nation Series and Asia Cup

New Delhi, 17 August (Kiran News). The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Sunday announced a 17-member squad for the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and the Asia Cup 2025. Veteran batsmen Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have not been included in the team.

According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), Salman Ali Agha will lead the Pakistani team for both the Tri-Nation Series and the Asia Cup, which will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The 17-member squad features key players such as Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Faheem Ashraf. Young players like Saim Ayub, Hasan Nawaz, and Mohammad Haris have also been included.

Pakistan will first participate in the Tri-Nation Series with UAE and Afghanistan from 29 August to 7 September. After this, the team will play in the Asia Cup 2025, scheduled from 9 to 28 September. The final match of the tournament will be held in Dubai on 28 September.
