Patna, March 13: Sanjay Sarawagi, the President of the BJP in Bihar, has criticized the opposition for spreading panic amidst ongoing tensions in West Asia and concerns regarding fuel supply in the country. He stated that it is inappropriate for the opposition to incite fear among the public while the government and administration are actively working to manage the situation.
Sarawagi mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has engaged in discussions with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. The goal is to ensure that the supply of oil and other essential goods arriving in India continues without interruption.
He emphasized that the opposition’s attempts to create panic among the populace are unjustified. The administration is closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary actions. He noted an increase in demand for domestic gas cylinders over the past 5-6 days, but assured that the administration is handling this situation effectively. He firmly stated that there is no shortage of gas in the country, and the public will continue to have access to LPG.
During his address, Sarawagi also raised questions about the proceedings in the Lok Sabha. He asserted that Om Birla’s position is constitutional and not tied to any political party. He praised the Lok Sabha Speaker for conducting the house in a manner that serves the interests of the nation’s 1.4 billion citizens.
Sanjay Sarawagi accused some opposition members of displaying unconstitutional behavior within the house, which undermines the country’s constitutional framework. He asserted that such conduct is unacceptable under any circumstances.
He also provided updates regarding the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, stating that a meeting of the NDA legislative party has been called for the elections scheduled on the 16th. Sarawagi confirmed that all NDA legislators are united regarding this election.
