
New Delhi, March 4: The vibrant festival of Holi has commenced across the country, filling the air with joy and celebration. People are gathering with their loved ones to partake in this colorful occasion. Prominent opposition leaders, including Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, BSP Chief Mayawati, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, have extended their warm wishes to the citizens of India on this festive day.
Priyanka Gandhi took to social media platform ‘X’ to share her message: “Wishing everyone a joyous Holi filled with the diverse colors of enthusiasm, sweetness, and brotherhood. Holi is a grand festival of embracing family, friends, and society with love. Let’s hug everyone and share happiness. Wishing a blessed Holi to all citizens.”
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also conveyed her wishes, stating, “Happy Holi! May this sacred festival of colors fill every home with joy and vibrancy.”
BSP Chief Mayawati expressed her sentiments, saying, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all citizens on the occasion of Holi. May everyone celebrate this festival traditionally with peace and harmony, sharing the joys of Holi together, which is the true spirit of this occasion.”
RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav shared his Holi wishes, writing, “On this auspicious occasion of Holi, I dedicate my experiences and commitment to service, colored in the sacred hues of life. What I have learned through struggles is that the truest color of a person is their dedication to humanity. Let us pledge this Holi to uplift every section of society. Embrace relationships, brotherhood, and dreams for a brighter future, and let’s adorn each other with this singular color of humanity.”
He further added in his post on ‘X’, “I wish that happiness rains in your homes, and the colors of service, harmony, and joy never fade in society. Heartfelt Holi wishes to all.”
Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, remarked, “This sacred festival of colors reminds us that the color of humanity is the deepest and most beautiful. As we apply gulal on each other today, let’s also bridge the distances in our hearts and wash away the stains of negativity. This Holi, let’s fill every line of hatred with the colors of love and tear down every wall of discrimination with brotherhood. Let’s immerse ourselves in the singular color of peace and unity.”
Tejashwi Yadav concluded, “Warm Holi wishes to all the people of Bihar and the nation. May your lives always be filled with happiness and joy.”
Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, also shared his Holi greetings, stating, “May this festival of colors bring happiness, love, and new energy into your lives. May your lives be filled with joy, peace, and prosperity.” Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav also extended his Holi wishes to the citizens.
