OP Rajbhar Blames Akhilesh Yadav for Azam Khans Arrest
UP minister OP Rajbhar holds Akhilesh Yadav responsible for Azam Khans arrest, criticizing his leadership during the SP government.

Ambedkarnagar, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : UP Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has publicly accused former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav of being responsible for the arrest of Azam Khan. Speaking in Ambedkarnagar on November 1, Rajbhar addressed the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) actions against Khan, linking them to the governance of the Samajwadi Party (SP).
During a press interaction, Rajbhar remarked that Khan is facing consequences for actions taken against him during the SP’s rule. He emphasized the need for accountability regarding the funds used for constructing buildings on government land at Jauhar University, suggesting that Yadav should have ensured proper documentation while in office.
Rajbhar stated, “Akhilesh Yadav is responsible for Azam Khan’s arrest. The ED’s actions are based on allegations of disproportionate assets. The same people who looted during their time in power are now facing scrutiny.”
In response to Yadav’s claims about Khan’s arrest, Rajbhar suggested that if Yadav ceased meeting with other leaders at night, many would end up in jail. He questioned why Yadav remains free while others, including Khan and Gayatri Prajapati, are incarcerated in similar cases.
Regarding the KGMC conversion case, Rajbhar called for a thorough investigation into those involved. He insisted that if individuals are found guilty, they must face appropriate legal consequences, asserting that crime can occur anywhere, not just in rural areas.
Rajbhar also criticized SP leader S.T. Hasan for his comments about Lord Ram, stating that Hasan should educate himself on the subject. “The entire country knows where Lord Ram was born. If he is ignorant, he should pursue further education,” Rajbhar added, highlighting the importance of knowledge beyond religious schooling.
The political landscape in Uttar Pradesh continues to be charged as leaders respond to ongoing legal controversies and public sentiments surrounding accountability and governance.
