Lucknow, March 17: Om Prakash Rajbhar, the president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party and Panchayati Raj Minister in the Yogi government, has strongly criticized opposition leaders, including Akhilesh Yadav, on various issues.
Responding to Yadav’s statement regarding a gas shortage in the country, Rajbhar remarked, “Is there a shortage of cylinders at Akhilesh Yadav’s home? If he makes such claims, he should clarify if there is any issue at his residence. There is no shortage of gas or LPG anywhere in the country. This is merely an attempt to defame the government. During inspections, we are finding 50, 250, or even 500 cylinders at the residences of Samajwadi Party leaders.”
On the demand to confer the Bharat Ratna to Kanshiram, Rajbhar stated, “If Mayawati is making such claims, she is his rightful successor. While her statement is valid, if Congress is making similar claims, it is purely political. When in power, Congress did not honor Dr. B. R. Ambedkar with the Bharat Ratna. Now, out of power, they are suddenly advocating for Kanshiram. He worked to bring the backward and marginalized communities into the mainstream, and it is because of him that I have reached this position.”
In response to Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge calling the RSS ‘the most corrupt organization in the country’, Rajbhar said, “When your government was in power, why did you allow this? You should have revoked their recognition. For 60 years, while your party ruled the state and country, you ignored their corruption. Now, after coming to power at the center, you suddenly see corruption.”
Rajbhar also mentioned that a social harmony rally was organized on Kanshiram’s birth anniversary. The aim was to raise awareness among marginalized and oppressed communities about education, health, employment, and job opportunities. People are being encouraged to stay informed about the central and state government schemes and to educate their children.
