Odisha Governor and Madhya Pradesh CM Meet PM Modi in New Delhi

New Delhi, March 16: Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday in New Delhi. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) shared images of the meeting on the social media platform X.

Following the meeting, Kambhampati informed PM Modi about ongoing development programs in Odisha and the continuous progress being made across various sectors.

In a post on X after the meeting, Governor Kambhampati expressed, “Today, I had the privilege of meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Parliament, New Delhi. I briefed him on the development programs in Odisha, the ongoing efforts for continuous progress in various sectors, and our commitment to accelerating the state’s development in line with the vision of a developed Odisha and a developed India.”

Earlier, the Governor expressed his condolences regarding the loss of life and property in a fire at a hospital in Cuttack. He stated, “I am deeply shocked by the devastating fire incident in the Trauma Care ICU of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Patients have been promptly moved to safe locations, and treatment is ongoing. My thoughts and prayers are with all those affected, and I wish them a speedy recovery.”

Additionally, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also met PM Modi in New Delhi, as he shared on social media. CM Yadav posted images of their meeting on X, stating, “Today, I had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and received his guidance.”

He further mentioned that he updated the Prime Minister on the programs and activities under the Farmer Welfare Year and the progress of the state.

Besides PM Modi, CM Yadav also met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
