Noida Police Bust Vehicle Theft Gang, Two Arrested with Illegal Weapons

Noida, March 19: The police in Noida’s Sector 142 have made significant progress in combating vehicle thefts by arresting two notorious thieves. During the operation, authorities seized a stolen motorcycle along with illegal firearms. This action was based on local intelligence and confidential information.

On Thursday, the police team conducted an intensive checking and surveillance operation in the Sector 140 area. They apprehended two suspicious individuals, later identified as Vishal Tiwari and Farid.

Upon searching them, officers recovered a stolen motorcycle, which had been taken from the Jafrabad area of Delhi. Additionally, an illegal pistol and a live .315 bore cartridge were found in Vishal Tiwari’s possession, while Farid was found with an illegal knife.

Both suspects were arrested on the spot, and cases have been registered against them under relevant sections of the law. Investigations revealed that Vishal Tiwari has a criminal history, with multiple cases of vehicle theft and other offenses registered against him in the Ghaziabad area.

Farid’s name has also surfaced in a case registered at the Jafrabad police station in Delhi. Police officials stated that this gang typically conducted reconnaissance to steal two-wheelers from isolated locations before selling them.

Authorities are currently interrogating the arrested individuals to gather information about their accomplices and other theft incidents. The police have also urged the public to park their vehicles in secure locations and report any suspicious activities immediately.
