Patna, March 22: Satish Kumar, the brother of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, has put forward the name of JD(U) leader Nishant Kumar as the next Chief Minister of the state. He stated that Nishant Kumar is capable of leading Bihar effectively.

During a media interaction in Patna, Satish Kumar expressed confidence in Nishant Kumar’s abilities, stating that if given the opportunity, he could fulfill the responsibilities of Chief Minister without any issues. He emphasized that Nishant Kumar is mentally fit and ready to take on the leadership role if entrusted with it.

Regarding Nitish Kumar’s recent decision to join the Rajya Sabha and move to Delhi, Satish Kumar mentioned that everyone wishes for him to remain in Bihar. However, the decision to leave was ultimately Nitish’s own.

On the occasion of ‘Bihar Diwas’, JD(U) leader Nishant Kumar extended his greetings to the people of the state, highlighting that Bihar’s glorious history is celebrated annually on this day.

There are growing discussions about handing over the leadership of Bihar to Nishant Kumar. Satish Kumar has endorsed his name, and several leaders within JD(U) have also expressed their support for making Nishant the Chief Minister.

Recently, when Nishant Kumar visited his ancestral village, local residents voiced their desire for him to take over the state’s leadership after Nitish Kumar.

It is noteworthy that Nitish Kumar’s announcement to join the Rajya Sabha surprised many in the state. He stated his intention to become a member of the Rajya Sabha, which led to his decision to leave.

Bihar recently held elections for five Rajya Sabha seats, and Nitish Kumar emerged victorious. Meanwhile, he continues to launch and inaugurate various projects during his ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ across the state.
