
Patna, March 8: Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, the national spokesperson for the JD(U), recently addressed several current issues. He highlighted the sentiments of party workers regarding Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar’s outgoing Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, joining politics.
Prasad noted that JD(U) workers have a strong emotional connection with Nishant Kumar and have been urging him to enter politics for quite some time. He stated that Nishant’s entry would bolster the party’s strength. According to him, the development roadmap laid out by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar could be effectively advanced under Nishant Kumar’s capable leadership.
Additionally, Prasad commented on the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final between India and New Zealand. He expressed that if India wins the World Cup, it would be a historic moment. “The emotions of millions of Indians are tied to the national team. Our team is performing exceptionally well, and we are confident that our warriors will defeat New Zealand decisively and bring the World Cup home,” he said.
He also reacted to the election results in Nepal, congratulating the people for choosing a new government. Prasad expressed hope that the new administration would set new benchmarks for development and transform challenges into opportunities. He emphasized the long-standing and emotionally connected relationship between India and Nepal, referring to it as a bond of “bread and daughter.”
Rajiv Ranjan Prasad asserted that both the Indian government and Nepal’s newly elected government share the responsibility of further strengthening this historic relationship.
