Kolkata, July 30: A significant opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work in a reputable company in India. The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of eligible candidates for a total of 500 Assistant positions in Class III cadre across various states and Union Territories.
The NICL has announced vacancies for Assistant positions in the following states and Union Territories: Andhra Pradesh (14), Arunachal Pradesh (5), Assam (18), Bihar (12), Chhattisgarh (18), Goa (2), Gujarat (34), Haryana (3), Himachal Pradesh (2), Jharkhand (10), Karnataka (30), Kerala (35), Madhya Pradesh (18), Maharashtra (57), Meghalaya (2), Mizoram (2), Nagaland (1), Odisha (16), Punjab (10), Rajasthan (36), Sikkim (1), Tamil Nadu (49), Telangana (15), Tripura (2), Uttar Pradesh (24), Uttarakhand (8), West Bengal (46), Chandigarh (UT) (4), Delhi (UT) (20), Jammu and Kashmir (4), and Puducherry (UT) (2).
The online application process for these vacancies commenced on July 18, and the last date to apply is set for August 7. Interested candidates for the Assistant posts can submit their registration forms on the NICL official website before or by the deadline.
The minimum age for applicants is 21 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of July 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on several stages, including a preliminary examination (online), main examination (online), shortlisting, identity verification, and a regional language test. The first phase of the online examination is expected to be held on August 27, followed by the second phase on October 30.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹850 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Candidates from SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen categories are eligible for a fee waiver.
