New Delhi, April 8: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced an escalation in operations against the Iranian regime. He stated that the campaign to dismantle Iranian authority is being conducted with increased vigor and strength.
Netanyahu revealed that Israeli pilots have targeted Iranian Air Force bases, helicopters, and transport aircraft. They have also struck railway tracks and bridges used by the Revolutionary Guards for the movement of weapons and troops.
In a post on the social media platform ‘X’, Netanyahu said, “I continuously tell you that we are crushing the Iranian regime. We are doing this with even greater intensity and increasing power.”
He mentioned that just a day prior, Israeli pilots had destroyed transport planes and several helicopters at an Iranian Air Force base. On Tuesday, attacks were carried out on railway tracks and bridges utilized by the Revolutionary Guards. These infrastructures were reportedly used to transport raw materials for weapons and fighters, facilitating attacks against Israel, the United States, and regional countries.
Netanyahu clarified that these operations were approved in collaboration with the Defense Minister. He emphasized that the actions are not aimed at the Iranian people but are intended to weaken and dismantle a regime that has oppressed them for 47 years.
He asserted, “This is no longer the Iran of the past, nor is it the Israel of before. We are shifting the balance of power from one end to the other.”
Just a day earlier, Netanyahu vowed that Israel would continue its full-force assault on Iran across all fronts until the threat is neutralized and war objectives are achieved. He welcomed the deaths of Majid Khademi, the intelligence chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), and Asghar Bagheri, commander of Quds Force’s Unit 840, reiterating Israel’s determination.
Netanyahu also warned of severe consequences for those who promote terrorism against Israel or construct an ‘Iranian evil axis.’
