NDA MPs Unite with PM Modi in a Positive Meeting, Wave the National Flag

New Delhi, August 11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a significant meeting with NDA MPs that commenced with the chant of “Vande Mataram.” During this gathering, prominent leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President Nitin Gadkari, and other NDA members were seen waving the national flag.

The “Mangal Milan” event took place at the Parliament Library in New Delhi on Tuesday. Prime Minister Modi was prominently featured with the tricolor flag. MPs are set to enter the house holding posters stating that the government wishes to discuss student protests, while the Congress party is allegedly avoiding the issue.

Additionally, posters addressing the Jharkhand government will also be present, highlighting the atrocities faced by protesting students in the state.

Last week, following the “Mangal Milan” meeting, BJP MPs spoke to journalists about government achievements, employment, sports, economic growth, and parliamentary proceedings. They accused the opposition of disrupting the parliamentary process.

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma stated that India is rapidly progressing, with the employment sector showing consistent improvement. He noted that over 250 million people have risen above the poverty line, attributing this success to government policies.

MP Manoj Tiwari mentioned that the “Mangal Milan” program extensively discussed various developmental works and government achievements. He criticized the opposition for causing continuous disruptions in Parliament, preventing discussions on critical issues. All MPs agreed to ensure their presence during parliamentary proceedings to facilitate the passage of essential bills.

Rajya Sabha member Ashok Mittal highlighted the discussion on India’s achievements in sports. He compared India’s performance in recent international competitions, such as the Glasgow Commonwealth Championship, with the previous decade under the UPA government, noting a clear positive shift in India’s global sports identity.

BJP MP Ravi Kishan emphasized that the country is firmly advancing on the path of economic and social development. The meeting covered topics such as GDP growth, employment, and increasing opportunities for youth. He also accused the opposition of obstructing parliamentary proceedings, stating that the public has the right to know why the opposition is not allowing Parliament to function smoothly.
