Prayagraj, August 11: Ahead of Independence Day, a motorcycle rally was organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, as part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign on Tuesday.
Anil Gupta, Chief Warden of Civil Defense, stated, “The motorcycle rally was held under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative. Participants included Civil Defense, Bharat Scouts, Home Guards, and police personnel, starting from Subhash Chowk and proceeding to Shekhar Azad Park.”
Regional Archives Officer Rakesh Kumar Verma noted, “Rallies are being organized across the country under the ‘Har Tiranga’ campaign. Inspired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, various rallies are taking place throughout Prayagraj. The Tiranga motorcycle rally will travel from Leader Subhash Chandra Park to the Chandrashekhar Martyr Site, accompanied by several cultural programs.”
Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh government is preparing to extend the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to all madrasas in the state. Danish Ansari, Minister of State for Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf, and Hajj, has directed the Principal Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department to issue necessary guidelines for organizing campaign-related programs in all madrasas.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ initiative, launched under the Ministry of Culture with the support of the Government of India, aims to foster a personal connection between citizens and the Indian national flag. This campaign encourages every Indian to bring the tricolor home and proudly display it, transforming the flag from a mere symbol into a heartfelt expression of national pride.
This initiative is part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, celebrating 75 years of India’s freedom. It promotes citizen participation in patriotic activities while highlighting the nation’s history, culture, and achievements. ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ provides a platform for citizens to actively celebrate freedom and unity.
