Ministry of AYUSH Releases Engaging Video Promoting Yoga Ahead of International Yoga Day

New Delhi, April 14: As preparations for International Yoga Day approach, the Ministry of AYUSH is actively raising awareness through fun and informative posts. Recently, the ministry released a unique and entertaining video featuring a special message about yoga.

The ministry shared the video on the social media platform X, stating, “Everyone practices yoga, but a true master is one who does it correctly.”

The video showcases characters from the blockbuster film “Dhurdhar,” directed by Aditya Dhar. In a conversation, Rakesh Bedi’s character, Jameel Jamali, asks Sanjay Dutt’s character, SP Chaudhary Aslam, “How long have you been practicing yoga?” Aslam replies, “It’s been seven years.” Jameel, surprised, responds, “That’s why you’re so fit!”

In the video, Rakesh Bedi’s character expresses regret over his unhealthy eating habits and irregular routine. Sanjay Dutt’s character advises, “Forget all that and start practicing yoga with the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP). Yoga is only effective when done correctly.”

The Ministry of AYUSH aims to make yoga accessible and engaging for the general public through this creative video. The message emphasizes that true fitness can only be achieved through proper yoga practices. The ministry has described the Common Yoga Protocol as a blueprint for fitness. The post encourages individuals to become champions of their health by changing their habits, practicing yoga correctly, and demonstrating that true champions never give up. “Only by practicing yoga correctly can we stay fit!”

This video is part of the awareness campaign for International Yoga Day, celebrated worldwide on June 21 each year. The ministry believes that yoga is not just physical exercise but a pathway to a healthy lifestyle. Properly performed yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation contribute to overall health, reduce stress, and maintain energy levels. The Common Yoga Protocol serves as a simple guide that anyone can follow to incorporate yoga into their daily routine.
