Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Supports Brij Bhushan Singh, Urges Action Against Anti-National Activities

Maulana Razvi backs former MP Singh, calls for legal measures against anti-national activities while urging peaceful protests.

Bareilly, October 19 (Daily Kiran) : Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi of Bareilly has expressed his support for former Kaisarganj MP Brij Bhushan Singh’s recent statements. He demands legal action against individuals involved in anti-national activities. Razvi emphasized that while the right to protest is a constitutional privilege, it should not undermine the nation’s unity, integrity, and democratic framework.

He urged protesters and various organizations to avoid violence, vandalism, and harm to the public. Razvi stated that Singh’s remarks on protests are valid, noting that anti-national forces are currently active during demonstrations. He pointed out that some opposition members are making alarming statements about creating a Bangladesh or referencing Nepal and Sri Lanka, which he believes are detrimental to national interests. Legal action should be taken against those making such statements or participating in such activities, he insisted.

The Maulana highlighted that while every citizen has the constitutional right to protest, it is crucial to ensure that such actions do not disrupt the democratic system, social fabric, or national unity. Protests must remain peaceful and avoid any form of violence. He mentioned that previous protests in Delhi have seen incidents of violence and police action, which tarnish the image of the demonstrators and harm the country.

Razvi also expressed concern over the impact of protests on the daily lives and businesses of ordinary citizens. He noted that areas like Connaught Place and Jantar Mantar are significantly affected, with many local workers facing disruptions. The economic toll, amounting to millions, cannot be overlooked. He urged opposition parties, including CJP and AISA, to consider whether their movements are causing hardships for the public. If protests are harming livelihoods, organizers should take this matter seriously.

In conclusion, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi asserted that the goal of any movement should be to present demands without inconveniencing the public. He called on protesters to uphold the nation’s unity and integrity while advocating for their causes peacefully.
