Massive Fire Breaks Out at Nature Market in New Delhi, Over 50 Shops Destroyed

New Delhi, March 15: A devastating fire erupted at the Nature Market in Andheria Mod on Sunday, causing chaos in the area. More than 50 shops were engulfed in flames. Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to control the blaze.

A local resident shared that shop owners affected by the fire are now coming to the site. The fire broke out around 6:30 AM. “People gathered here after I informed them. We tried to prevent the fire from spreading. The shop owners have been notified and are on their way,” he said.

Fire officer Manish Sherawat reported that they received information about the fire around 7:30 AM. This incident occurred near Andheria Mod, a market known for handicrafts. Their vehicle reached the location by 7:30 AM. He confirmed that the fire has been brought under control and there were no casualties. Firefighters from four to five stations responded to the incident. However, he could not provide details about the extent of the damage.

Previously, on March 11, 2026, another fire incident occurred in the Bindapur police station area of Delhi at 11:57 PM. Approximately 28 fire tenders were dispatched, and the fire was controlled by 3 AM. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries, although around 80 shanties were destroyed in that blaze.

Just days earlier, on March 7, 2026, a fire was reported at Mansaram Park. Eight fire tenders were sent to the scene, and the fire was extinguished quickly, with no casualties reported. An FIR was registered under section 326(F) BNS at PS Bindapur regarding that incident.
