Ghaziabad, October 1 (Daily Kiran) : A major fire erupted early Thursday morning at the Avinix Design Concepts Private Limited factory located in the Bulandshahr Road Industrial Area of Ghaziabad. The incident, which occurred around 1:11 AM, prompted an immediate response from the fire department. Seven fire engines were dispatched to the scene, and after several hours of intense effort, firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the fire raging on the ground floor of the factory, filling the building with thick smoke. Recognizing the severity of the situation, they quickly deployed two hose lines to combat the flames. Given the risk of rapid spread and the intense heat, additional fire engines were called in from nearby fire stations in Vaishali and Sahibabad.
One of the main challenges faced by the fire department was the presence of other factories within the same building, which necessitated careful measures to prevent the fire from spreading to adjacent units. Firefighters primarily focused their efforts on the front section of the building while wearing breathing apparatus to navigate through the smoke-filled environment.
After gaining access to the source of the fire, the crew worked diligently to extinguish the flames completely. Following the successful operation, they inspected various sections of the building to ensure no smoldering remnants remained. A total of seven fire engines were utilized in this operation.
Currently, authorities are assessing the cause of the fire and estimating the damage to property. Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or fatalities. The police and relevant departments are conducting an investigation into the incident to determine its origins.
