New Delhi, August 2: BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has expressed strong disapproval of Pappu Yadav, the MP from Purnia, for protesting in the Parliament complex while wearing saffron attire. Tiwari stated that Yadav’s actions are against Sanatan principles and deserve severe punishment.
During a media interaction in New Delhi, Tiwari remarked that disrespect towards a religion has been observed multiple times, but this incident has crossed all limits. He emphasized that placing images of Lord Ram at the feet of any MP and staging such theatrics is an insult to Sanatan Dharma. He labeled it a serious offense that warrants stringent consequences.
On the remarks made by India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval regarding ‘freedom,’ Tiwari noted that all great leaders of the nation have consistently conveyed that freedom does not equate to lawlessness. He stated that insulting others is not an expression of freedom. The public is wise, and those engaging in such actions will eventually find the right path.
Tiwari expressed satisfaction with the Delhi government’s ‘Laxmi Yojana,’ highlighting that the BJP had promised to provide 2,500 rupees monthly to underprivileged women during the elections. He mentioned that the process of preparing the beneficiary list has already commenced since the government took office.
He added that a significant number of women have registered for the scheme, and the process of document verification and eligibility determination is underway. MPs and MLAs are actively involved in this effort. Tiwari assured the people of Delhi that the promises made will be fulfilled soon, hoping that the upcoming Raksha Bandhan will bring a significant gift for the sisters of Delhi.
In response to Chief Minister Kejriwal’s comments regarding E-20 fuel, Tiwari sarcastically noted that only about 200 members remain in his party, indicating how the people of Delhi and Punjab have rejected him.
Regarding E-20 fuel, he stated that it symbolizes the country’s self-reliance. He accused certain anti-national forces of wanting to prevent India from achieving energy independence. Tiwari mentioned that his vehicle also uses E-20 fuel, which is a crucial step towards strengthening India’s self-reliance. He criticized companies and anti-national elements that prefer India to remain dependent on diesel and petrol imports, asserting that the nation is rapidly moving towards self-sufficiency.
