A Kanpur family accuses four men of murder after their son was dragged on a car roof, leading to his death. Police investigate the incident.

Kanpur, October 22 (Daily Kiran) : In Kanpur, a tragic incident has unfolded in the Hanumant Vihar area, where the family of a man has accused four individuals of murder following his suspicious death. The police have initiated an investigation based on the family’s complaint.
Relatives claim that a longstanding feud led to the assault on 37-year-old Biru Singh Bhadauria. They allege that several men first hit him with a car and then assaulted him. The attackers reportedly placed him on the roof of their vehicle and drove at high speed for approximately 1.5 kilometers, locking his arms in the front windows.
Biru, a salesman for a food production company, was returning home after visiting a fair when he was confronted by Mevalal, who was driving the car along with Rajveer and two others. According to the family, they stopped Biru, assaulted him, and when he attempted to escape, they struck him with the vehicle.
Following the incident, passersby alerted the police and Biru’s family. He was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Instead of viewing it as an accident, the family is demanding that the case be treated as murder, calling for strict action against the accused.
The family has also pointed out that the entire incident was captured on over twelve CCTV cameras, leading to protests for justice. They insist that the authorities must take decisive action against those involved.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Abhishek Rahul confirmed that a written complaint was filed on October 21 by Pradeep Shukla, stating that Biru’s death resulted from being struck by an unknown vehicle. He assured that an investigation is underway, and further legal actions will be taken based on the findings. A video related to the incident is also circulating online and is under examination.
