Purulia, March 20: Following the announcement of the West Bengal Assembly elections, the Trinamool Congress (TMC) released its manifesto on Friday. BJP MP Jyotirmay Singh Mahato criticized the TMC’s manifesto, suggesting that Mamata Banerjee should prepare to sit in the opposition rather than remain in power.
Mahato stated that the Chief Minister cannot create a credible manifesto. However, in the TMC government, anything is possible. He emphasized that after the election results, Banerjee will need to understand that she will be in the opposition. The public has been misled for 15 years, and they can no longer tolerate the TMC government.
He asserted that the BJP is contesting all 294 seats in Bengal. Our candidates are actively engaging with the public in their respective constituencies. We will contest the upcoming assembly seats in Purulia with strength. We are hopeful that the public will decisively reject the TMC and give the BJP a chance to form a clean and transparent government.
Mahato claimed that the BJP will win the West Bengal Assembly elections and that the next government will be formed by the BJP. The people of Bengal are ready to bless the BJP with their support. He accused the TMC government of deceiving not only Bengal but also Purulia. The local populace is quite angry with the TMC. This time, the public is determined not to be misled again. They have resolved to eliminate Mamata Banerjee’s party in this assembly election and ensure the victory of BJP candidates at all costs.
Regarding Mamata Banerjee’s comments on the transfer of officials, Mahato stated that the Election Commission performs its duties and makes decisions for fair elections. The BJP has no role in the transfers of officials.
Reiterating his point, he concluded that the government in Bengal is set to change, and Mamata Banerjee will have to sit in the opposition. He remarked that a corrupt government that has been in power for so long is about to end.
