Mumbai, March 18: The highly anticipated action-drama film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge,’ directed by Aditya Dhar, is eagerly awaited across the nation. However, the film’s team has issued a significant update via social media, apologizing to audiences for a technical issue.
In an Instagram post, director Aditya Dhar announced that the Malayalam and Kannada language screenings have been postponed due to technical difficulties. Meanwhile, the Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions will be released as scheduled.
The note reads, “To our beloved Dhurandhar family, Dhurandhar is not just a film for us; it is something we live for, something we have nurtured, and we dream of sharing it with all of you in every language at the same moment.”
The team explained the technical issues further, stating, “Most of our Hindi shows across India will run as planned starting at 5 PM. All Tamil and Telugu shows will begin at 9 PM. However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, our Malayalam and Kannada shows will start the following morning.”
To accommodate affected viewers, the filmmakers have offered options. Those who purchased tickets for the Malayalam or Kannada dubbed versions, which are not currently screening in their theaters, can either receive a full refund or watch the Hindi version with subtitles.
The team added, “If the dubbed version ticket you hold is not currently being shown at your theater, you will have the option of getting a refund or watching the Hindi version with subtitles instead. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Your love for this film means everything to us, and we cannot wait to share it with you.”
In a previous post, director Aditya Dhar made a heartfelt request to the audience, urging them not to reveal any details about the story beforehand.
