
Bhopal, March 23: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav met with Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi at his residence in Bhopal on Monday. CM Yadav described the meeting as a courtesy visit, during which several important topics were discussed.
The discussion focused on motivating the youth of the country to join the Indian Army. Additionally, the Chief Minister announced that a grand ‘Army Day’ parade will be held in Bhopal on January 15 next year. The event will feature the presence of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
According to CM Mohan Yadav, the purpose of this event is not only to strengthen respect and pride for the army but also to inspire enthusiasm and motivation for national service among the youth. He mentioned that the festivities will commence on January 9, with various attractive and inspiring programs planned. Key events will include ‘Shaurya Sandhya’, a military exhibition, and military drills.
The Army Chief shared pictures from the meeting on social media platform X, stating, “Today, I met with Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi at my residence in Bhopal. We discussed motivating youth to join the army. A grand ‘Army Day’ parade will be organized in Bhopal on January 15 next year, with Honorable Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh also in attendance.”
In his post, the Chief Minister further added, “This parade will strengthen the sentiment of respect for our nation’s rich military heritage and brave soldiers. Programs will begin in Bhopal on January 9, featuring significant events such as Shaurya Sandhya, a military exhibition, and military drills.”
