New Delhi, March 19: Various festivals, including Chaitra Navratri, Chaitra Sukladi, and Gudi Padwa, are being celebrated across the country today. On this occasion, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, extended their warm wishes to the citizens of India.
In a post on the social media platform X, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge expressed, “On the auspicious occasion of the establishment of the grand festival of ‘Chaitra Navratri,’ dedicated to the divine form of Goddess Durga, I extend heartfelt greetings to everyone. I hope this sacred festival brings joy, peace, prosperity, and happiness into your lives, and may the blessings of the Adi Shakti always be with you.”
Kharge also shared another message on X, stating, “As we celebrate the spirit of Chaitra Sukladi, Gudi Padwa, Cheti Chand, Navreh, and Sajibu Cheirao, I convey my best wishes to all those celebrating these joyous festivals. May these spring festivals bring new beginnings, deepen the bonds of harmony, and fill every home with joy and hope.”
Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi also offered greetings for Navratri and Gudi Padwa. He wrote on X, “Wishing everyone a very Happy Gudi Padwa, Chaitra Navratri, Ugadi, Sajibu Cheirao, Cheti Chand, and Navreh. May these joyous occasions fill your life with happiness, prosperity, and new beginnings.”
Meanwhile, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra conveyed her wishes for Navratri, stating, “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the auspicious festival of Chaitra Navratri, dedicated to the nine forms of the universal mother, Goddess Durga. May the divine mother bring happiness and prosperity into your lives.”
In another post, she noted, “Today, various festivals are being celebrated across the country. I extend my warm wishes for Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, Vikram Samvat 2083 New Year, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Navroz (Navreh), and Cheti Chand. These festivals, celebrated in the spirit of welcoming spring and the New Year, symbolize India’s rich culture and diversity. On this occasion, I wish all citizens happiness, peace, and prosperity.”
