Beijing, June 3: The China Media Group (CMG) and the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party held a launch ceremony for the documentary ‘Cultural Essence of Xi Jinping’ in Vientiane on June 2.
The General Secretary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President Thongloun Sisoulith sent a congratulatory letter. In his message, Thongloun emphasized that the documentary includes Chinese philosophical wisdom. It showcases Xi Jinping’s focus on cultural heritage preservation, his vision in national governance, and his affection for China’s five-thousand-year-old civilization.
CMG’s Director General, Shan Haixiong, also delivered a video message. He noted that this year marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Laos, as well as the Year of China-Laos Friendship. Under the strategic leadership of both nations’ leaders, the continuous development of China-Laos relations is strengthening the construction of a community with a shared future, benefiting the people of both countries. CMG aims to foster mutual learning and cooperation with various sectors in Laos to contribute to the establishment of a high-standard, high-quality, and high-level community with a shared future.
