Karnataka BJP President Targets Congress, Claims Minorities Recognize Crocodile Tears

Bengaluru, April 6: B.Y. Vijayendra, the Karnataka BJP President and MLA, has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Siddaramaiah regarding the upcoming by-elections.

Vijayendra stated that the by-elections pose a significant challenge for the Karnataka government and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He remarked that the Congress party’s ‘crocodile tears’ are now being recognized even by the minorities.

During a press conference in Davanagere, he accused the Chief Minister of misleading the public under the guise of the guarantee scheme. The by-elections have become a crucial test for the Congress government. Siddaramaiah and his cabinet members are reportedly confused about which seat to defend between Davanagere South and Bagalkot.

In response to a question, Vijayendra noted that the anger among voters in Davanagere indicates the political direction in the coming days, which he believes will benefit the BJP. He emphasized that minorities have also realized that the Congress party is shedding ‘crocodile tears’ for them.

Vijayendra criticized the government, stating that Siddaramaiah, an experienced Chief Minister with 17 budgets under his belt, has failed to utilize his experience effectively for the state’s development. The by-elections have attracted attention for various reasons and have disrupted the Chief Minister’s peace of mind.

He accused the government of failing to undertake any developmental work in the past three years, instead portraying their guarantee schemes as progress. Siddaramaiah and his cabinet members are allegedly blaming the central government to cover up their failures, while no real development has occurred in the state.

Regarding the BJP’s campaign efforts, Vijayendra expressed pride in the dedication of party workers at the booth level. All leaders and workers are united and campaigning enthusiastically in support of candidate Srinivas Dasakariyappa. He acknowledged the commitment of party workers and noted that JD(S) workers are also supporting them.
