New Delhi, August 13: Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has voiced her concerns regarding the ongoing disruptions in Parliament. Speaking to the media on Thursday, she criticized the opposition for deteriorating the atmosphere in the legislative body.
Ranaut stated, “This is highly objectionable. They have completely ruined the environment here. The situation is worsening day by day. On one hand, Rahul Gandhi questions the Home Ministry, yet he claims he will not allow the Home Minister to speak. What kind of behavior is this? They demand discussions, but when offered, they say they do not want answers. This clearly indicates they have no real issues to discuss. After the topics of development, national progress, the economy, and defense have been exhausted, they are merely creating a scene.”
In a similar vein, BJP MP Shamik Bhattacharya also took a jab at the opposition during his media interaction. He remarked that if they lack the courage to participate in discussions, how can they expect to hear answers? He added, “One must have the courage to listen to answers, which they clearly do not possess. They are not participating in discussions because they have no issues to raise. The foundation of the corruption prevalent in the country was laid by the Congress party.”
Bhattacharya further emphasized that the Congress party has been manipulating public sentiment and continues to do so. He said, “The Congress party is deceiving the public. The people elected them to participate in discussions and listen to their grievances. The opposition is merely trying to elevate their own status through these antics.”
He concluded by stating that the Congress party has been rejected by the public. They have nothing substantial to say and have become a parasitic entity over centuries.
