
Chandigarh, April 14: The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) has announced 23 vacancies for Junior Resource Persons at its Ropar branch. Eligible candidates interested in working at NIELIT are encouraged to apply.
The official notification details various positions available, including two Junior Resource Persons (Data Entry), two Junior Resource Persons-II (Assistant), one each for Junior Resource Persons (Computer Operator), Junior Resource Persons-I (Office Assistant), Junior Resource Persons-I (IT Assistant), Junior Resource Persons-I (Project Assistant), Junior Resource Persons-II (Hindi), Junior Resource Persons-II (Admin Assistant), and Junior Resource Persons-II (IT Faculty). Additionally, there are four positions for Junior Resource Persons-I (Data Processing) and eight for Junior Resource Persons-I (Examination).
Candidates must hold a relevant graduation degree along with a diploma or specialized degree from a recognized institution or university. Furthermore, applicants must meet other specified eligibility criteria. The maximum age limit for candidates is set between 30 to 40 years, depending on the position.
Selection for the NIELIT positions will be based on a computer-based typing test, a walk-in interview, and document verification. Selected candidates can expect a monthly salary ranging from ₹18,200 to ₹25,000, depending on the role.
When filling out the application form, candidates are required to pay a fee based on their category. The fee is ₹700 for general and all other candidates, while it is set at ₹350 for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, differently-abled, and female candidates.
The walk-in interview and typing test will take place on April 23, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, at NIELIT Ropar, Birla Farm, Bada Phool, Rupnagar (Ropar)-140001, Punjab. Candidates attending the interview are advised to arrive on time and bring all relevant documents and the application form.
