
Patna, April 7: Renowned lyricist, poet, and screenwriter Javed Akhtar visited the Bapu Tower Museum in Patna on Tuesday. During his visit, he commended the museum’s modernity and the vibrant display of Mahatma Gandhi’s ideals. He stated that this historic museum is the most influential museum in the world.
Upon arrival at the Bapu Tower Museum, director Vinay Kumar welcomed Javed Akhtar. The director provided detailed insights into the construction of Bapu Tower, its objectives, and the various exhibitions housed within.
During the tour, Javed Akhtar closely observed the museum’s different galleries. He deeply engaged with the life of Mahatma Gandhi, his ideals, and the memories of the Indian freedom struggle through ramps, historical images, murals, audio-visual presentations, and short films.
Impressed by the grandeur and technology of the museum, he remarked, “I have traveled around the world and seen many famous museums, but I have never encountered such an impactful, vibrant, and modern museum dedicated to Gandhi’s memories and thoughts. Bapu Tower is truly special. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to visit here. I learned a lot of new things about Gandhi. I will definitely return to Bapu Tower.”
