Mumbai, Aug 11 (H.S.) – Television actress Jasmin Bhasin, known for her roles in Naagin, Dil Se Dil Tak and reality show Bigg Boss, recently opened up about a disturbing incident from the early days of her career. The actress revealed that a director once tried to misbehave with her inside a locked hotel room.
Speaking about the incident, Jasmin said she was called for an audition at a hotel in Juhu. In the lobby, she noticed several other girls and actresses, along with coordinators. When her turn came, she entered the room and found a man drinking alcohol, asking her to perform a scene. Surprisingly, the coordinator also left the room.
“The Scene Had to Be Done ‘Now’”
“I was scared at first,” Jasmin recalled. “He told me the scene had to be done right then. I said I would come prepared the next day, but he insisted. The scene was about stopping my lover from leaving. I acted it out, but he said, ‘Not like this’.” She added that the man then locked the door and tried to do something inappropriate.
Displaying presence of mind, Jasmin managed to escape the room. That day, she decided never to attend a meeting or audition in a hotel room again.
Career and Recent Work
Apart from television, Jasmin has appeared in Punjabi films such as Ardaas Sarbat De Bhale Di, Warning 2, and Badnam. Recently, she featured in Karan Johar’s reality game show The Traitors, which also starred Maheep Kapoor, Jannat Zubair, Uorfi Javed, Ashish Vidyarthi, among others. The show was won by Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther. Jasmin has yet to announce her next project.
