Israeli Air Force Claims Strike Kills Hezbollah Commander Abu Darar Mohammad

New Delhi, March 12: The Israeli Air Force has announced that it eliminated Hezbollah commander Abu Darar Mohammad in an airstrike on Tuesday. According to Israel, Mohammad was a crucial link in military coordination between Hezbollah and Iran and played a significant role in enhancing the organization’s rocket capabilities.

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) shared the news on its official social media account, stating, “Earlier this week (on Tuesday), the air force killed Abu Darar Mohammad in an attack. He was a commander working with Hezbollah’s missile unit in Beirut and acted on behalf of the Revolutionary Guards.”

The IAF indicated that Mohammad played a central role in military coordination between Hezbollah and the Iranian regime. He also served as a liaison and mediator between Hezbollah and Iranian officials.

Furthermore, he was a key figure in strengthening Hezbollah’s rocket capabilities and was working on rebuilding them after Operation Northern Arrow.

The IAF reported that Mohammad possessed critical information about Hezbollah’s strategic military weapons. He led the processes of the organization’s rocket unit and directed missile attacks towards Israel during Operation Northern Arrow and Operation Roar of the Lion.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that it would continue to take strong action against Hezbollah. The IDF has decided to engage in this campaign with the support of the Iranian regime, ensuring that Israeli citizens remain unharmed.

Additionally, the Israeli Defense Forces revealed that its air force struck a significant site linked to Iran’s nuclear program. This attack targeted the Taleghan site at the Parchin military complex, located southeast of Tehran.

According to the IDF, fighter jets targeted this complex, which was being used to advance Iran’s nuclear weapon capabilities.

In related news, the Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), confirmed the death of senior IRGC commander Ismail Dehghan. Several family members were also killed in the attack, including his wife Farideh Sadat Saidi, daughter Fatemeh Dehghan, son Mohammad Parsa Dehghan, and mother-in-law Soghra Ghasemi. Another son, Mohammad Hossein Dehghan, was reported injured.
