New Delhi, March 25: Amid ongoing tensions in West Asia, Israel announced on Tuesday that it successfully neutralized a potential threat by destroying an Iranian missile launcher in a timely operation.
Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, an international spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), reported that Israeli Air Force jets targeted a fully loaded ballistic missile launcher in western Iran, which was prepared for an attack on Israel.
In a post on the social media platform X, Lieutenant Colonel Shoshani stated, “We successfully intercepted a launch aimed at our civilians. The Israeli Air Force jets struck a ballistic missile launcher in western Iran that was already loaded and ready to fire at Israel, eliminating it before it could be used.”
The IDF also shared on X, “The Air Force destroyed a loaded ballistic missile launcher directed towards the territory of the State of Israel, rendering it inactive.”
Additionally, the IDF reported completing another round of airstrikes across Lebanon, targeting fuel stations that finance Hezbollah’s operations.
In a separate operation on the same day, the Israeli Air Force claimed to have conducted extensive attacks in Isfahan, targeting production sites associated with the Iranian regime located in several areas of Iran.
Earlier that night, the IDF reported another significant strike on a key route used by Hezbollah fighters to move from north to south across the Litani River. This route had been utilized for transporting weapons, rockets, and launchers to further plots against the IDF.
The IDF emphasized its commitment to taking strict action against Hezbollah, which has decided to engage in campaigns under the Iranian regime, ensuring the safety of Israeli citizens.
