New Delhi, October 16 (Daily Kiran) : IREL (India) Limited has announced a significant opportunity for job seekers. The company is recruiting for 131 positions of Tradesman Trainees across various specializations. This recruitment drive opens on October 19, 2026, at 10 AM, and applications will be accepted until November 9, 2026.
The vacancies include 93 positions for Tradesman Trainee (Fitter), 12 for Tradesman Trainee (Electrician), 6 for Tradesman Trainee (Instrumentation), and 20 for Tradesman Trainee (Attendant Operator Chemical Plant). Interested candidates can apply through the official IREL website once the application link becomes active.
To qualify for these roles, applicants must possess relevant qualifications from recognized institutions. Specifically, candidates for the Fitter position should have an ITI/NAC in Fitter, while Electrician applicants need an ITI/NAC in Electrician trade along with a valid statutory license. Instrumentation candidates must have an ITI/NAC in Instrumentation, and those applying for the Attendant Operator position should have an ITI/NAC in that field or intermediate qualifications in Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 35 years as of the application deadline. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government rules.
Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT), a skill test, document verification, a pre-employment medical examination, and a merit list. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹34,200 per month during a one-year training period. After successful completion of training, the salary will range from ₹22,000 to ₹88,000 per month, along with additional benefits.
Applicants must pay an application fee of ₹354 for General/OBC/EWS categories. However, SC/ST/PwBD/ex-servicemen/women/internal candidates are exempt from this fee.
