Mumbai, March 27: On the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, Iqbal Ansari, a former litigant in the Babri Masjid case, presented images of Lord Ram to his security personnel. During the event, he shared insights about the significance of this gesture.
Ansari explained that the purpose of gifting the images on Ram Navami is to ensure that anyone who receives an image of Ram Lala will be guided on the right path and blessed with wisdom.
He stated, “We have distributed these images to devotees and everyone who visits here. We are giving these images to everyone because they represent the faith of Ayodhya and the blessings of Lord Ram. I am pleased that we could share these images with all. The aim of giving the image of Lord Ram is to keep the faith alive in people’s hearts and encourage them to follow his teachings with devotion.”
He further emphasized, “Today is a sacred day of Ram Navami. The images of Ram Lala hold special significance. People come here and take the images back with them. This symbolizes their deep devotion.”
Ansari highlighted the importance of Ayodhya, stating, “Ayodhya is a holy city, the birthplace of Lord Ram. All deities reside here. This is the place where Lord Ram himself resides, and today is particularly special as the Sun God has blessed Lord Ram with his light. This brings joy to the entire nation. Everyone visiting here is extremely happy.”
He added, “If everyone keeps an image of Lord Ram, they will follow the paths shown by God, leading to progress for our country, which is a very positive outcome.”
The atmosphere in Ayodhya during Ram Navami is truly remarkable. Over 20 devotees completed a nearly 900-kilometer pilgrimage from Mansa, Punjab, to Ayodhya, carrying silver sandals and saffron flags along the way.
