Indore, August 1: In a decisive move to combat crime, the police department in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has taken stringent measures against criminal activities. Authorities have acted against eleven criminals, with three notorious offenders being banned from the district. This means these individuals will no longer be allowed within the revenue limits of the district.
According to Indore police, continuous and effective actions are being taken against habitual and active criminals. Following the review of reports submitted by police officials from various zones, the police commissioner of Indore has issued district bans against three notorious criminals and bond orders for eight other habitual offenders.
These criminals have been involved in illegal activities for a long time, with multiple serious charges registered against them across different police stations in the city. Despite previous preventive actions, there has been no improvement in their criminal behavior, which has been disrupting public peace and order in the area.
Under the Madhya Pradesh State Security Act of 1990, cases against these criminals were presented to the police commissioner, who, after due consideration, issued orders. As per the police commissioner’s directive, Rajkumar Khatik, Ajay alias Bhola Pathote, and Rahul alias Dadiya alias Saligram Jadhav have been banned from the district for a period of three to six months.
Additionally, eight other criminals have been placed on bond, requiring them to report regularly to their respective police stations for a specified duration. They are prohibited from engaging in any illegal or criminal activities and must refrain from participating in any actions that could disrupt public peace and law and order. The order also stipulates that all other restrictive conditions must be adhered to. The police commissioner warned that any violation of these restrictions would result in strict legal action against the offenders.
