Chennai, August 8: The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has officially announced the recruitment of 250 Local Bank Officer (LBO) positions across various states. This opportunity is aimed at young job seekers in the banking sector.
The recruitment will take place in Tamil Nadu (100 positions), Karnataka (50 positions), Maharashtra (50 positions), and Gujarat (50 positions).
The online application process began on August 8 and will remain open until August 24. Interested and eligible candidates can complete their registration on the IOB official website before the deadline.
Applicants must hold a degree from a recognized institution or university in any discipline, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the central government. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid mark sheet or degree certificate confirming their graduation on the day of registration and must provide their graduation percentage during the online application.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 20 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of August 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection will be based on an online examination, a Language Proficiency Test (LPT), and a personal interview. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹48,480 to ₹85,920.
During the application process, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is ₹850 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and ₹175 for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
