Lucknow, April 9: BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj highlighted India’s significant role in the recent two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran. He stated that India’s stature rose dramatically the day gas and liquid resources began flowing into the country under the Indian flag, and Iran recognized India as a friendly nation.
Maharaj noted that India’s Prime Minister, Petroleum Minister, and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have openly assured that there is no shortage of diesel, petrol, or gas in India. With the ceasefire now in place, he believes this has been confirmed. He expressed gratitude towards PM Modi for ensuring that India faced no crisis during this challenging period, calling it a remarkable achievement.
He emphasized India’s impartiality and its belief in a culture of inclusiveness, which has yielded positive outcomes. Maharaj praised Modi’s leadership for preventing the escalation of conflict, stating that the nation should thank the Prime Minister for this accomplishment.
Regarding RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat’s visit to Mathura, he remarked on Bhagwat’s dedication and the respect he commands across India, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Maharaj stressed that Bhagwat’s life is dedicated to the nation, deserving of honor.
On the Women’s Reservation Bill, the BJP MP mentioned that a session has been called starting April 16. He expressed confidence that a proposal for 33% reservation for women would be passed within three days.
In contrast, he criticized the opposition, stating that their approach resembles the saying “if you can’t dance, blame the floor.” He urged that politics should focus on issues and stand for women’s dignity.
